Mindful eating coaching

Slow down, notice more, and rediscover eating with attention.

We are an education-led coaching practice in South Wharf. Our sessions help you observe habits, understand hunger and fullness cues, and approach meals with curiosity rather than pressure.

What guides our work

Four ideas that shape every conversation

These are not rules to follow. They are gentle reference points we return to as you build your own understanding of eating.

Observation before change

We begin by noticing patterns without judgement. Awareness tends to make the next step feel clearer and less forced.

Balance over restriction

Rather than counting or cutting, we look at how meals feel and fit into a full, ordinary week of living and working.

Language that supports

The words we use about food matter. We practise describing meals in a way that is honest, plain, and free of pressure.

Your own pace

There is no fixed timeline. Some people meet weekly for a season, others check in occasionally as questions arise.

Sessions are unhurried and conversational, on your terms.
The practice

A quiet space to think about how you eat

Siftingflush grew from a simple observation: many people know a great deal about food, yet feel disconnected from their own eating. Schedules are full, meals are rushed, and the table becomes one more task to manage.

Our coaching does not prescribe diets or treat any condition. Instead, we offer structured reflection, practical attention exercises, and educational reading so you can form your own conclusions. Think of it as facilitated learning rather than instruction.

This site and our sessions provide general informational and educational content only. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.
How a season together unfolds

From first conversation to comfortable routine

  1. An unpressured introduction

A relaxed call where we talk through what you are curious about and whether this kind of educational coaching is a sensible fit.

  2. A shared map

Together we sketch the themes you would like to explore, from mealtime pace to the cues you tend to overlook.

  3. Reflective sessions

Regular conversations, paired with short reading and gentle attention exercises you can try in everyday meals.

  4. Reviewing what you noticed

We look back at your observations and adjust the focus so the work continues to feel useful and realistic.

Common questions

Helpful things to know before we begin

Is this a diet or nutrition plan?

No. We do not provide meal plans, calorie targets, or dietary prescriptions. Our work is reflective and educational, centred on attention and awareness rather than rules.

Can coaching replace medical or dietetic care?

It cannot. We offer general information only. If you have specific health concerns, we encourage you to speak with a suitably qualified professional.

How long do people usually stay involved?

It varies widely. Some people attend a short series of sessions, while others prefer occasional check-ins. There is no required commitment.

Do sessions happen online or in person?

Both are available. In-person sessions take place in South Wharf, and online sessions are arranged at a time that works for you.
